UM Series

Range of Applications

The UM series is versatile range of Positive Displacement Rotary Gear Pump. Rotary Gear pump Preferably used for Transfer/feed of Light or heavy viscous fluids. Many different types of industries and fluid shaving use in.

  • Refinery Technology

  • Petrochemical Industries

  • Crude Oil Transfer

  • Fuel oil transfer/firing in general industries

  • Soap / fatty acid / glycerin / edible oil / synthetic detergent plants

  • Lubricant system

  • Rayon / polymer

Operations

Rotary gear pumps are positive displacement pumps of extremely simple design. They consists of only two moving parts, a Drive Gear & Driven Gear rotating on replaceable bush bearing fitted in the pump housing. Gears from chamber containing liquid being pumped. When the drive gear is rotated, the chambers are filled at the suction and liquid travels in the teeth cavity on the two outer gears, with the meshing of gears the same being discharged evenly through delivery connection. The output is virtually free from pulsation and turbulence.

  • A versatile, general purpose pump capable of dealing with wide variety of viscous liquids.

  • No axial thrust, balanced gear design.

  • Replaceable bush bearing housed in pump body with positive self lubrication arrangement.

  • Simplicity of design ensure ease of maintenance, reduce down time and maintenance.

  • With or without relief valve.
